Richard Ojeda is running for Congress in North Carolina. He spent 24 years in the U.S. Army, serving tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Haiti, including fifteen years stationed at Fort Bragg, where his daughter was born and his family put down roots. After retiring from the military, he moved to West Virginia to be near his aging parents, taught JROTC at a local high school, and was elected to the State Senate, where he passed medical cannabis legislation and stood with teachers during the statewide strike.

James Martin is running for Congress in Florida’s 21st District. A fourth-generation Floridian, he earned an appointment to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, graduated with honors in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, and spent nearly ten years in the Coast Guard serving on four ships and commanding two cutters in Fort Pierce, Florida. His last active-duty assignment was Chief of Staff for National Security Affairs and Executive Secretary of the Office of the Vice President at the White House from 2022 to 2025, where he served both Vice President Harris and Vice President Vance. He now holds a commission as a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve.

Tony Kozycki is running for Congress in Georgia’s Seventh District. Raised in LaGrange, Georgia, he attended the United States Naval Academy on a nomination from Senator Saxby Chambliss. He became a Naval Aviator flying the F/A-18 Super Hornet, completing three combat deployments and working closely with allied forces in complex, high-stakes environments. After returning home, he continued his service as an attorney fighting for Georgia families. “I’ve led when the stakes were real, when people were counting on you to get it right,” Tony says. “That kind of responsibility stays with you, and it’s exactly what’s missing in Washington.”

Shawn Harris is running for Congress in Georgia’s 14th District. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps after high school and rose to the rank of Sergeant, later earning his B.A. in Agribusiness from Tuskegee University, where he met his wife Karla. He deployed as an infantry commander in Afghanistan after 9/11, later led a team into Liberia during the 2014 Ebola outbreak, and retired as a Brigadier General after 40 years of military service. As the 2024 nominee, Shawn built a coalition of Democrats, Independents, and Republicans and earned more votes than any Democrat in GA-14 in over a decade.

Ray Bilger is running for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 15th District. Born in Bellefonte and raised in Pleasant Gap, he grew up with working-class values instilled by his father, a factory worker, machinist, and veteran, and his mother, who raised three children. He entered the Air Force in 1986 as an Airborne Cryptologic Linguist, serving in Desert Shield and Desert Storm over a 35-year career as a security officer and intelligence analyst for the Air Force, National Security Agency, and State Department. He most recently served as NSA Technical Director for Cyber Analysis from 2015 to 2017.

Cait Conley is running for Congress in New York’s 17th District. Hailing from Hudson Valley roots, she was the first in her family to graduate college after earning a nomination to West Point. She served 16 years as an Army officer, deploying six times to combat zones including Iraq and Afghanistan and earning three Bronze Stars. She then worked as Director for Counterterrorism on the White House National Security Council and at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) under President Biden, where she helped protect America’s elections and critical infrastructure.

Chris Deluzio represents Pennsylvania’s seventeenth Congressional District as a veteran and former voting rights attorney. He was commissioned as a Navy surface warfare officer after graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy, later deploying to Iraq with U.S. Army Civil Affairs. He went on to earn his law degree from Georgetown and worked on voting rights and election security at the Brennan Center for Justice. In Congress, Chris serves on the House Armed Services Committee, including the Subcommittees on Seapower and Projection Forces and Readiness.

Pat Ryan represents New York’s Eighteenth Congressional District and is an Army combat veteran. Raised in Ulster County, where his mother taught public school and his father ran a small business. He attended West Point and served two combat tours in Iraq as an Army intelligence officer. Elected Ulster County Executive in 2019, he led the county through the pandemic and invested in affordable housing and mental health services without raising taxes. In Congress, he continues to the principles every cadet is taught: “A cadet will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do.”

Kweisi Mfume represents Maryland’s 7th Congressional District and has dedicated his career to civil rights, economic opportunity, and public service. A graduate of Morgan State University and Johns Hopkins University, he previously served as President and CEO of the NAACP and has held leadership roles on the House Oversight and Reform Committee, House Education and Labor Committee, and House Small Business Committee. His career has focused on civil rights, economic opportunity, healthcare equity, education, and strengthening public institutions. He has served on the House Foreign Affairs Committee since 2024.

Tom Perriello is running to represent Virginia’s Fifth Congressional District after a career in Congress, diplomacy, conflict prevention, democracy work, and nonprofit leadership. He previously represented Virginia’s Fifth District in Congress and later served in senior diplomatic roles at the State Department, including as U.S. Special Envoy for the African Great Lakes region and the Democratic Republic of the Congo and as U.S. Special Envoy for Sudan. His State Department work focused on conflict resolution, humanitarian access, regional security, civilian protection, and democratic transitions. Perriello’s profile brings congressional experience, high-level diplomacy, human rights work, and direct engagement with some of the world’s most difficult security and humanitarian crises.

Nancy Lacore is running to represent South Carolina’s First Congressional District after a 35-year career in the U.S. Navy. Her service began as a Navy helicopter pilot and culminated in senior command as the 16th Chief of Navy Reserve and Commander, Navy Reserve Force. Lacore also held major operational and institutional leadership roles, including Vice Commander of U.S. Sixth Fleet, Chief of Staff for U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa, Commandant of Naval District Washington, and commander of Camp Lemonnier in Djibouti. Her background brings senior military command, overseas operational leadership, Navy Reserve management, and direct national-security experience to her candidacy.

Derek Tran represents California’s Forty-Fifth Congressional District and currently serves in the U.S. House of Representatives. Before being elected to Congress in 2024, he worked as an attorney and served as a small-business owner and community leader in Orange County. In Congress, Tran has focused on issues including national security, veterans, economic opportunity, healthcare, and protecting democratic institutions, bringing his background as a first-generation American and attorney to his work in the House.

Brad Sherman represents California’s 32nd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he has served since 1997.
