Mike Quigley (IL-05)
WASHINGTON — The Steady State, an organization of more than 420 former national security, intelligence, diplomatic, military, law enforcement, and homeland security officials, today endorsed Hon. Mike Quigley for Illinois's 5th Congressional District.
Mike Quigley represents Illinois’s Fifth Congressional District and has developed a longstanding intelligence and national-security oversight portfolio. He currently serves on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the House Appropriations Committee. His intelligence work has included oversight of foreign threats, Russian interference, the intelligence community, and national-security accountability.
Mike Quigley demonstrates a consistent commitment to the rule of law, supports nonpartisan oversight and accountability of the Executive Branch, exhibits a substantive understanding of the national security challenges facing the country, and upholds the democratic norms and ethical standards of public service that the organization's criteria require.
